ABSTRACT
This paper investigates a flexible multi-port converter integrated with wireless power transfer (WPT) to provide an efficient power distribution solution for DC microgrids, thereby enhancing operational efficiency in factories employing autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). The proposed converter operates flexibly, supporting both voltage conversion and low-power wireless power transmission. Experimental results demonstrate that the system achieves a conversion efficiency of approximately 94% on the microgrid side and a wireless transmission efficiency of about 73% at 50 kHz, delivering a stable output voltage of 35.3 V and an output power of 25.7 W to the AMR battery. The proposed solution not only reduces downtime caused by battery charging but also improves flexibility and automation in smart factory environments, contributing significantly to the advancement of DC microgrid technologies.
