The article deals with the evaluation of machining solutions for the oversized thin-walled component for the robotic portal specific for conveyor workplace. The following portal CNC machining centres selected. First, the "Gantry Type" FSGC 300 Machining Centre Portal with the "X" 50000mm Axis with the Heidenhain Control System was designed, the second DMU 340 Gantry with the maximum "X" 6000mm axis with the Siemens Sinumerik control system and the last VF - 10/40 with maximum 3048mm "X" axis with Fanuc control system. A method of fastening a thin-walled robotic portal designed as well as economic evaluation of individual variants. CAM software application used for production programming.
