ABSTRACT
Nowadays a high-quality road network is necessary for sustainable transport systems. A sharp rise in automation results in increased transport problems. The most serious problems include traffic infra-structure congestion, congestion, and increased risk of a traffic accident and, of course, a negative impact on the environment. The mobility of inhabitants and the transport of goods is one of the key transport objectives. The most critical point on the road network is still a junction. That is why it makes a big difference for the vehicle to pass smoothly and safely when crossing the road. This arti-cle provides an analysis of the current state of the selected circular junction. Based on the survey conducted, new solutions for this junction are should prevent the traffic conditions becoming obtru-sive. Aimsun microsimulation was performed for checking new proposals.
