ABSTRACT
Noise measurement for the design of anti-noise measures is used as a tool to identify and evaluate the existing noise situation. Measurements is carried out in the vicinity of selected roads to demonstrate the need for the design of anti-noise measures or to assess the effectiveness of the measures.
Where measurements are made for the design, detection and assessment of the effectiveness of a noise protection measure in relation to the protection of public health, such measurements shall be carried out by a person holding a Certificate of Professional Qualification for Qualitative and Quantitative Verification of Environmental Factors to assess their potential impact for health - noise measurement. The paper presents the modelling of noise exposure using infrared technology in the given area and the simulation of measures on the main road routes of the model.
