Systematic error correction remains a fundamental problem in measurement science, particularly when the final result is obtained by processing a series of raw measurement data. The main aim of this article is to demonstrate that the developed deductive method for determining measurement result uncertainty does not require correction of systematic errors in the raw results, because, under the assumptions of this method, expressing the final result as a measurand interval removes the need for separate systematic error correction. An additional aim of the work is to present the deductive method in the form of a coherent set of definitions and expressions that can be used as a basis for algorithmic implementation of the procedures for determining uncertainty and metrological analysis of measurements performed both in industrial settings and research laboratories. Analytical considerations are illustrated with examples, including a description of a Monte Carlo experiment demonstrating the application of the proposed method to the correction of systematic error in a result obtained by processing a measurement data series.
